Jason began his journey into the world of illustration and geekery as a child, drawing weird monsters and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for hours on end. Discovery of his Aunt's computer and the magic of a scanner, he graduated onto creating fake NBA trading cards to impress his friends. He bacame a master of the selection tool and various sweet filters.

Fast forward through the awkward high school art club years to university. Jason discovered his knack for illustration thanks to a wise and sort-of-crazy professor and he began honing his skills and becoming addicted to caffeine. The illustration teachers were impressed by Jason's colorful and whimsical style as well his ambitious nature. Displaying a talent for drawing robots and ninjas, surviving brutal critiques, writing about himself in third person, and scoffing at obvious use of Photoshop filters he graduated with an impressive portfolio.

Hencethereforward, he has continued to improve his skills throughout his various experiences. From designing a monthly trade magazine, illustrating a children's book, creating album artwork and event posters for several bands, designing packaging for many big box retailers, illustrating charcters for said packaging and learning CSS to create this very website (and this one!) he has proven his worthiness as a passionate and well-versed illustrator and graphic designer.
