ABOUT JASON CASTILLO
I am a professional illustrator and graphic designer. I live in Chicago with my wife and cat. In 2009 I fell of my bike and broke my elbow. When working from home I like to take a break by taking my sketchbook to one of the many awesome coffee shops in my neighborhood. I load up on caffeine and try to sneakily draw the local patrons.
I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon. I've been desiging and illustrating professionally since graduating NIU in 2004 with a BFA in illustration. I've worked on a great variety of projects including magazine layout, packaging design, product development, brochures, large format, my own wedding invitations, and other personal projects that keep the creative juices flowing.
Lately I have been putting a lot of time in at a giftware company and I've gotten to illustate and design some pretty fun stuff!
